At the 2018 Youth Health Conference, AAAH is offering a range of pre-conference professional development workshops. These 3- hour skills-focused forums will provide participants with the opportunity for interactive learning in clinical care, research and innovative programs in a variety of contemporary youth health issues. More information will be added as the pre-conference workshop topics and presenters are finalised.

Welcome Reception

The Welcome Reception will be held on Thursday 8th November in the evening, at the Poolside, Marriot Resort and Spa (or whatever it is) and includes drinks and canapes. One ticket to the welcome reception is included for all full registrants (8 & 9 November). For those only attending the Youth Forum/ Pre-Conference workshops or one day of the conference, or for those wishing to bring a partner or friend, tickets can be purchased for $80.

Youth Forum or Pre-Conference Workshops: 7 November

At the 2018 Youth Health Conference, AAAH is offering a range of Pre-Conference professional development workshops. These 3- hour skills-focused forums will provide participants with the opportunity for interactive learning in clinical care, research and innovative programs in a variety of contemporary youth health issues. More information will be added as the Pre-Conference workshop topics and presenters are finalised.

Delegates can purchase a ticket to attend the Youth Forum (only for people aged 12 – 24 years) or Pre-Conference Workshops on Wednesday 7 November 2018. The forum and workshops are an additional cost and are not included in the full registration or day registration fee. Tickets can be purchased from the registration form.

Early Bird Registration
Early Bird rates are offered to those who register and pay by 28 September 2018. To be eligible for the Early Bird rate payment must be received by this date. After the 28 September 2018, all new and outstanding registrations will be transferred to the standard rate.

Accommodation
All accommodation bookings will be subject to the individual hotel cancellation policy. Please contact the Conference Secretariat for the hotel cancellation policy.

Payments
Once your registration has been received a confirmation email and tax invoice will be issued. All accounts must be paid in full 30 days from the invoice date or 10 business days before the Conference start date, whichever comes first. The organisers reserve the right, without notification, to cancel outstanding accounts any time after 30 days from date of tax invoice being sent.

All registrations received after Monday 22 October 2018 must be paid in full by credit card only. If payment is not received prior to the Conference, access will be granted only after full payment is made via credit card or cash onsite.

Refunds and Cancellations

The Conference Committee understand that circumstances can change.  At any point prior to the event you are welcome to contact the Conference Secretariat in writing to nominate a substitute delegate at no extra charge. A full refund less a $150 service fee will be issued for cancellations received on or before 24 September 2018.

Registration cancellation received between 25 September 2018 and 12 October 2018 will receive a 50% refund on the registration fees.  No refunds will be issued after 13 October 2018. Non-payment does not constitute cancellation.

Insurance

It is the responsibility of the delegate to arrange their own travel insurance. The Conference does not endorse or have arrangements with any companies. The following links are provided for information only.

The Conference organisers reserve the right to change activities, topics and presenters where necessary. “The organisers shall not be liable for any loss caused by the cancellation of the Conference where such cancellation is due to Force Majeure. The term “Force Majeure” means any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the organisers including but not limited to War, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), terrorism, aircraft hijacking, military operation, riot, civil war, rebellion, civil commotion or unrest, Acts or Regulations of government, refusal to grant visas, explosions, natural disasters, transport delays, transport difficulties and the insolvency of airline carriers. The organisers will use all reasonable efforts to conduct the Conference despite the intervention or occurrence of any such cause.”
